In October 2024, the Sino-Africa Polytechnic (Rwanda) welcomed its inaugural cohort of students, marking another significant milestone in “Vocational Education Going Global” initiative of Zhengzhou Electric Power College.

After a rigorous selection process among numerous applicants in Rwanda, a total of 119 outstanding students (including 68 preparatory students) were admitted, comprising 49 in power engineering and 70 in computer science. These students will undertake 3-4 years of full-time study (including preparatory courses) under the school’s 2+1 talent cultivation program, adhering to Chinese standards.

Moving forward, ZEPC will continue to strengthen its overseas educational institutions in Africa, deepening cooperation in the energy, power, and vocational education sectors. This initiative will further contribute to the development of “New Double High” standards and the internationalization of vocational education.
