The International Exchange and Cooperation Department (IECD) of Zhengzhou Electric Power College is responsible for the college’s internationalization affair. The international development of ZEPC has gone through a history of more than 20 years, from “bringing in” to “going global”.
(1) In terms of "bringing in", ZEPC has introduced high-quality educational resources from Australia since 2003. It developed the textbook of Chinese in Electricity Power and more than 10 teaching resources for major courses, organized overseas students to conduct internships both in and outside China, and dispatched teachers to give lectures and provide teaching guidance overseas. These efforts have cultivated 147 qualified “pro-China and friendly-China” electric power technicians for local economic construction and Chinese enterprises. In 2021, ZEPC established Electric Silk Road College Alliance of "the Belt and Road". In 2021, Sino-Pakistan Silk Road Institute of Electric Power was jointly built with University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore in Pakistan.
